Recent years Chinese feed bulker manufacturing quality has increased a lot ,more and more international factories are buying feed trailers from china,since feed trailer are over size of container ,and it has to be shipped by Ro to Ro ship or bulk ship . and mostly it is difficult to know the price . so customers are diffficult to confirm their ship cost which is part of total cost to import bulker from china ,definitely it will affect their decision.
in general ,feed trailer shipping cost are calculated as per volumn, it differ from 40-60USD per cubic meter .and one feed bulker 30t is 140cbm roughly , so total shipping cost will be from 5600USD-8400USD,if you ship more quntities one time ,you will get cheaper price .

while when we ship the feed trailer ,what problems could happen most probably or how to avoid those issues happen. since we have shipped many feed bulker from china to international market ,I will share our experience as below .
Prepartion before ship feed trailers
- Make Clear nameplate on the chaisis including weight ,Vin Code, dimensions ,axial load ETC ,manufacturer information . and those information like ID to enter the destination country which cannot be removed . especially the Vin code need to be mark on the chasis will be better .
- except the main tank ,engine and hydraulic parts need to be well covered ,otherwise it will get rusted ,since most probably our feed bulker is standing on the deck of bulk ship. so any rain during seafreight or in the seaport will cause rust
- feed trailer sometimes you can directly enter ship by driving ,but mostly the feed semi trailer will be lifted on the deck of ship, so we need to mark the lifting point of feed bulker ,otherwise will cause unbalance issue and get damage the feed tank ,also during lifting we should ask the agent to add some soft material to avoid paint damage ,if small crack I suggest to add one small bottle self-paint.

at last . the bulk ship is not regular container which we have weekly shipment ,for most of country it is 1-2 times per month , so if we want to make fast delivery ,better to make reservation earlier .
